Hello everyone, my name is Tony Carvajal and I am the 2016 State League Women's Coach.
I have had my B Licence for 14 years. I have coached at club level since 1996 coaching from under 9 to under 16 consecutively at Fremantle United till 2002, 2 years with the State League Under 18s at the Western Knights (2003,2004), 5 years with the East Fremantle State Women’s League Team (2006 to 2010) and most recently established the Melville Women’s State League Team in the Premier Division (2013 to 2015).
 
I have been fortunate to be been given the opportunity to coach at State Level for a number of years. I have coached the State Under 17 Boys Country Team (2000), the Football West Under 16 Women’s State Team in 2005, School Sport WA Under 19 Women’s State Teams from 2006 to 2009 and the School Sport WA Under 12 Boys State Teams from 2011 to 2015. I have recently been reappointed for 2016. I have also been the School Sport WA Primary Football Coordinator for 13 years having started the Primary Football Championship now in its 13th year and Primary Football Girls Championship which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
 
I am looking forward to coaching UWA Nedlands during the coming season and getting to know you all. I am sure that if we all give our best the girls will have a very successful season starting from our junior teams right up to our Women’s State League Team.
