Michael Janssen's troops will be out to avenge their shock early season loss to Gosnells when they take on the 10th placed side at The Mac this Saturday afternoon.
UWA were left to rue their missed chances after a late lapse in concentration cost the side all three points away to South West Phoenix last week, with the skipper pleased with the performance, but gutted with the outcome.
"We played an excellent game, dominated possession and had fabulous opportunities, but at the end of the day we only got one point to show for it," Josh Marocchi explained.
Coach Janssen echoed his thoughts, with the German lamenting his side's inability to close out the match.
"Conceding the late goal was not deserved and made it feel really disappointing for the boys," he said.
"After a great 87 minutes, we were once again punished for an inattentive moment that cost us the three points we worked so hard for."
The point saw UWA climb back up to fifth and the squad will be keen to consolidate their position with a win over City this weekend.
"The boys will be right up for it Saturday as we look to turn the result around and get the result," Marocchi proclaimed.
"Gosnells played to their strengths in the last match, so we will need to be sharp and look to get a hold of the game early,"
"Expect Alex Kretowicz to be ready to break his goal drought."
In team news, Andrew Xydas will miss the match as the combative midfielder is still overseas, with Bryce Conway back to full fitness after a week off.
