Michael Janssen's side will be looking to put their recent form behind them when they travel to high-flying Gwelup Croatia in Round 6.

It's been a frustrating start to the season for the boys in green following a very promising Night Series campaign, but the squad remains confident they can turn things around starting this Saturday.

UWA will enter the contest fresh from last weekend's bye round and with a strong week of training under their belts with the lads responding the best way possible to their Round 4 home loss.

Uni's opponents have set the pace in the early stages of the season, having gone undefeated in their opening four games, but are coming off a surprise 1-1 draw last weekend against Joondalup City.

The newly-promoted side have won three of their four matches and currently boast the tightest defence in the league having only conceded five in a free-scoring division.

The match-up will be a stern test for the travelling side, but a positive result tomorrow could serve as the catalyst in turning their fortunes around with plenty of football still to come.

The squad has also been boosted by the return of fan favourite and club cult figure Patrick Morrison, who will look to reform a formidable partnership with Alex Kretowicz in the front third.

The good news continues with the long-awaited return of pacy full-back Brandon Naude after recovering from a hamstring injury.
