After an enthralling encounter earlier in the season, UWA play host to a star-studded Gwelup side in Round 17.
The response on the training track the past two weeks following the Rockingham loss and bye round has been superb from the boys, as they look to continue to fight for a top four spot this season.
This week's opposition presents a huge challenge for Michael Janssen's side, with Gwelup currently equal on points with league-leaders Rockingham, but with a game in hand.
Having trailed 3-0 at the break against Gwelup back in Round 6, Uni fought back to make it 3-2 in the second half and were extremely unlucky to not grab a point away from home following a dominant display in the final half-hour of the match.
The squad welcomes back a number of key players to the side this week following European travels in July, with left-back Max Welton and winger Lloyd Prout back in the mix for selection.
"The weather isn't quite as good as Europe, but the company definitely is!," Prout said.
"We have a tight-knit squad, so it's great to be back among the lads."
Prout, who returned to training last Tuesday, cannot wait to be back out there on The Mac tomorrow afternoon to help the club return to winning ways.
"It's going to be a tough one. Gwelup are a quality outfit with a number of big names in their squad, I'm, really looking forward to it."
"Our attitude and performance in the second half last time out was exceptional, but we need to show that consistency for a full 90 in order to reverse the result on Saturday."
Brandon Naude is also fit for selection after suffering from a knee injury the past weeks as competition for places heats up.
