UWANFC believes that players of all abilities should have the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.  We aim to provide a dedicated qualified non-parent coach for all of our junior teams.

Coaching of the young players is a key part of the Club’s philosophy.  We want the training to be productive and skills based, but most of all enjoyable for the players and conducted in a supportive environment.

Please refer to Club’s junior grading policies for more information as to the Club’s thinking on how the game should be approached for the benefit of our younger players’ development and long term enjoyment.

Football West organises teams from all clubs into different divisions according to playing strength.  For this reason, players are assessed by our qualified coaches at the pre-season training sessions and placed into appropriate teams.

All junior team players will be graded, however, for Small Sided players we recognise that ‘grading’ is not for everyone and those players will be able to opt for a more social team, if they would prefer.  (See grading policy)

We invite your child to register and become part of our growing number of  Small Sided Football teams at UWANFC.
