Take a walk down memory lane

Coaches, Managers and fellow players have the power to influence and create historic memories. Many treasured memories are held on the football pitch and we hope to reconnect you with some of UWANFC's past photos and stories from previous players, coaches and club members.

IN REMEMBRANCE

DAMIAN DELANEY
In memory of our beloved UWANFC Masters captain and player who passed away after a courageous battle with motor neurone disease.

Damian inspired everyone that he met with his positive energy, wisdom, selflessness, humility, sense of humour and genuine interest in all his family, friends, team mates and colleagues.

Damian  will never be forgotten at UWANFC.

RIP DD.

AARON BURGESS
Team mates, parents, friends and staff of the UWANFC extend our deepest sympathies to the Burgess Family on the passing of Aaron , father of our B16 captain Jack Burgess. Although we will miss Aaron on the sidelines of the football pitch, we will always be there to provide help and assistance to Jack and his family as they navigate through this most difficult time.

From the UWANFC Boys B16 team.

DEIDRE DUNCAN
UWANFC were so incredibly fortunate to have such a kind and committed Manager running one of our girls team for over four years. Without Deirdre this girls team would have been in chaos. She kept them together and motivated them to maintain a positive attitude in every game. They all saw Deirdre as a person who was always happy and cheerful, making every single player and parent feel welcomed into the team. Her award-winning managing skills went beyond sending emails and organising oranges, she helped shape the girls attitudes to make them a cohesive team. Her sense of humour, warmth and friendship will be missed by all of us.

President, UWANFC committee and members.
